Blogged what everyone were blogging.

Another 2 weeks to Chinese New Year.12 DAYS!!Every bloggers were writing about how they going to celebrate, and how many clothes or shoes can really satisfy them! Some already did new hair style. This is the BEST part of CNY where you can buy lots of lots of clothes and mummy will give you the money to buy! The one and only reason I love CNY! Because normal day I can’t afford to buy expensive clothes due to financial problem. I’m a poor girl..=p Me, myself finished buying my clothes before holidays because I knew I gonna be busy during school reopen and this proved that my six sense was wrong! Because I’ve been wasting my weekend crapping.
Ok, let’s back to my point. I, myself think that CNY is an annoying day. It’s just a normal day where families and relatives were have a chance to gather around and eating cookies which usual occasion we can’t. I mean normal occasion we can eat those fattening cute little goodies but have you ever think of how many calories you’ve been pushing into your stomach EVERYDAY? For those thin girls or ladies which I normally called them as bamboo, they don’t have to worry about this but for me, short little pumpkin; I definitely have to care on my weight!

Besides, on this day, I have to wake up on around 9am or may be 8am (which I’ll not during normal weekend, probably 11am or 12pm?)!!! Why? That is because WORLD WAR II (dog’s version).
I have to explain this. My dog, Nicky, is a clever dog. It will barks whenever he sees a stranger come near to my house or anybody he don’t know, he will bark on him. This is good for our home security. And now, every year, my cousin’s dog will be staying at my house. Her dog is a pampered dog. I mean mine also not good in discipline but at least I putted him at a place where he supposed to stay at. But for her dog, it has to sleep in an air-con condition and walked around my house with his entire furs flied around! Imagine that! And worst still, it shits and pees all around my house! yark! Nicky which hates strangers and so do her dog were never ever getting along with each other and that is the reason why I woke up in the very early morning! Get my point? Sorry for complaining here, I knew I won’t tell the truth in front of my cousin or uncle and this really made my sis mad of because I really don’t want to mess up the mood of everyone. I’m proud to say I’m a peace maker! =)

As well, after just a few hours of relaxing and watching tv, you know, this special occasion got lots of nice programs, but we have to be “forced” to go to relative’s house on this HOT melting sunny day. I understand this is a Chinese’s tradition or whatever but for me, is an annoying and tiring day! Because, you see..I’m a 21-year-olds girl. BUT, I need to face all those kids on this day. Don’t get wrong of my sentence. I, myself love kids. However, not kids with aged of 13 or 14 or 15, may be called them as teenagers. I love kids around 3 or 4-year-olds. They are cute and chubby and so lovely. They are angels.

My point is when this day comes where I have to deal with 15 or 16 or whatever long time no see cousins, I definitely speechless and don’t know what to do at that moment. Whenever I started to try, and I really tried hard to talk or start a conversation with them, we just can’t get into the topics. Mummy always asked me to talk and mix around with them and I tried, whenever I said, how’s your going? And she replied, fine. And that’s the end of the story.

I admit. May be I’m old..and having generation gap with them.

However, not all bad for this day, at least I can meet my long time no see friend who studied at Kelantan. I really hope I can for this year. We get to meet her only on this day. You know why? Blame MMU! Having suck system where people enjoying holidays and we starts schooling and when people starts their school life, they said MERDEKA! So how we meet each other you see..So, for me, friend’s gathering on this day is the best. At least for what I experienced in my past years.

I don’t know what others think of this special day. What do you think?

Hmm..maybe I’m not supposed to think like that. Maybe I have to treasure everyone around me and try to appreciate what I’m having and what I don’t. I wish this year would be a better year for me. Ignore all those fortune telling or Chinese horoscopes. I think if we work hard, we surely can achieve better! So, work hard this year lynn!

Wish everyone a happy coming Chinese New year and happy valentine to those who has! =)

And WHY ah? Why MMU got no CNY feels? What is Chinese Language Society doing?
Asking myself actually, a non-active (zero-active actually) member of CLS. Haha!
I think they are busying cyber’s CNY event and this explains the ignorance of Malacca CLC! =p
